I agree with you 100%, there are dealers like yourself that sell higher quality cels, and making lower profit margin.
It is very hard to make any profit of cels that cost 5000 yen or more, the price has simply gone up so much in Japan, 5000 yen used to get you extremely high quality cel, now days 5000 yen will only get you a slightly above average quality cel, because of the buying frenzy from the foreign dealer and collectors, the price will continue to go up, not to mention the stupid cel lottery anime world star held every week with the cels they bought from other stores, cel stores in Sun Mall probably have ripped off every foeign dealers and collectors.
most dealers will probably agree, anyone with $10000 US dollars can easily wipe out the whole week worth supply of good cels in Tokyo, easily, of course, it will take a lot of hard work, going from district to district, not a easy thing to do.

either way, the dealers out side of Japan certainly deserve whatever profit margin they gets, after all, no body like to do hard work for no reason, if was'nt for them, we will not have many of the great cels we have today.
