Dear Forum,

Okay, here is a question that is not part of my dumb
question series.  Where can you buy original art sketches
done by famous anime/manga artists (especially if you can't
go to those great conventions)?  I've only been able to
acquire by LUCK a few sketches and art by a few comic book
artists through contests and such, but I haven't had any
luck in finding those great original anime/manga convention
sketches which I often see some galleries put up next to
their cels.  I even tried buying some off of eBay once, but
I got ripped off instead (It was a fan artist trying to pass
her art off as the REAL thing done by the famous artists.).
Are there any places that do sell them, or do you have to
goto a convention to get them?  I live too far away from any
of the good conventions (in the middle of nowhere: the anime
deprived desert) to go (without investing a considerable
amount of time and money).  Any help would be greatly
appreciated.  Thanks.
