Sorry, hit wrong button... (Wed Dec 22 12:30:11 1999

On the post before this I hit enter instead of tab, so it sent the message instead of dropping down to the message box. That's what I get for staying up so late. Anyway, Thanks, for your help. I was just wandering what dollar amount it might be worth. I am very unlikely to ever let go of that cel. If I ever change my mine the first person to get a shot at it would be Marcus and if we were unable to come to an arrangement then I would put it up for auction. Not to make you pull out any more of your hair or torture you further, (although, I hear bald is beautiful and torture is ... just that torture) but I bought that cel for 3000 yen. Which at the time I was in Japan was roughly $25.00 U.S. I was very very very (probably could more verys and still be correct)lucky to get that cel and not just at that price. I was two boothes down at the convention when I saw my best friend pick up that cel and look at it. He was always beating me to the best cels and I thought "Oh! No! He did again!". Then without reason he put the cel down and left. I stood there dumb founded for a couple of moment and then went over and bought the cel. On the way back to our booth I passed him as he was heading back to get that cel. So, I came real close to missing the cel. To this day neither of us knows why he put the cel back down. Sorry, honestly, I wasn't trying to torture anyone but how I got that cel and for how much it cost me, has always made me go a little... OK, OK, ...a lot over board about it. Since, I had never really seen a comparable cel, I had always wandered what dollar amount the cel was worth. Even though it is worth more to me because of the memories attached it than any dollar amount. Boy, I can go shooting mouth off longer than even I realize I could. Oh,well. I am signing on now. I think. gdpj |
