DPI is meaningless for a scan displayed on a computer screen. For such pictures, we measure in number of pixel. Don't make a picture larger than around 600 pixel as it wouldn't fit on many people screen. As for the size of thefile, just increase the jpg compression factor. Usualy it's an option when you save the file. Cheers, Yann Stettler
