maybe someday they will notice you posted a solution.
I've had pages on AOL for over 3 years now, and never
had too much trouble with it. Except for the 2-week
period last year when someone wonderful aol tech person
accidentally switched my user directory path with the
server's root directory. I spent so much time on aol tech
support trying to explain to them what was happening to
my account when they decided to upgrade their server ^_^;
Eventually, everything got straightened out, with the
only damage being a reset page counter.
As for any sort of GUI editor being the problem, I can't say.
I either write my pages in notepad or xemacs, then ftp my
files over.
Well, enough procrastinating, I've got a paper to write
for class ^_^;
