Dear M, Well, there are a few places I can recommend if you are looking for anime action. If you visit any mall around here (including the big one), Suncoast carries the most anime titles around here, plus they have SOME (not alot) of anime related merchandise from the U.S. and Japan (shirts, stickers, a few cards from Dragonball Z, Pokemon stuff, notebooks, iron-on patches, those chroma cels, etc.). Also, there are 2 comic book stores that carry alot of anime merchandise (including Japanese manga, artbooks, keychains, some fake idol cards, REAL Japanese trading cards, wall scrolls, plush, dolls, Japanese CD soundtracks, all things Pokemon, etc.). Source Comics and Games 1601 W Larpenteur Ave Falcon Heights, MN 55113 (651) 645-0386 Shinder's 115 Rosedale Commons Roseville, MN 55113 (651) 639-0640 Dreamhaven Books and Comics 1309 4th Street SE 912 W Lake Street Minneapolis, MN 55414 Minneapolis, MN 55408 (612) 379-8924 (612) 823-6161 There is also an anime society here called TCAMS. You can find more information about them on their website: http://people.mn.mediaone.net/deedle/index.html And that's it! There are only a few comic book conventions here and no anime conventions that I've heard of =(. NOBODY here has any cels for sale except the chroma ones 8(. There is a big Disney cel collecting society here called the Minnie-sotans, but I haven't seen any of them since our animation gallery moved away. I hope this helps you on your next trip here! Good luck! Sincerely, Sonia |
