I believe this has been discussed a couple times in the forum
before.  You should use the nifty search feature in the forum

Basically, you need to know some basic information about the
Japanese bank (name, address, maybe a SWIFT number.)  You
should contact your personal bank for details on exactly how
they do it and perhaps try to find a US branch of the
Japanese bank you want to send it to.  You basically just
need to fill out a form, it's not too difficult.
