Cels Forum

Howdy everyone,

   My last post a few days ago I mentioned that I owned 
a Totoro cel. Since then I have recieved quite a few 
requests to see a scan of the mentioned cel. I do not 
have a website with my cels on it and I have found that
a lot of people can only recieve text e-mails. So, I am
reposting the cel here. 

   This was posted here on the forum once before as a 
belated birthday wish for Wendy. Over the last few months
Wendy and I have carried on a friendly competion with
Miyazaki cels. (By the way I have some new evil plans
for you my mortal enemy. ~_^ ) I got into this hobby
for the friendships of the people I met while I was in
Japan more than any other reason. I still collect and stay
in the hobby more for meeting and making new friends. If
I could not share the cels that I buy with others in
friendship I would sell every cel that I own and get out
of the hobby. Since my first post to this forum I made
sereval new friends and intereacted with many others.
Every intereaction has be pleasant and friendly for me.

  I like the anime and I like the artwork of a particular
cel or I would not have bought that cel. There are certain
cels that have more meaning for me than others for many 
reasons. (Such as how I got it, who I got from, the story
behind the cel, and so on.) I am sure this is true for 
most everyone out there. However, when an individual makes
a certain type of impression on me and there is a cel it 
my collection that person really likes I will make a note
with that person's name on it and place it with the cel.
If I ever do sell that particular cel I will give the
person who's name is with the cel first chance to buy the
cel. Of cels that I have posted to this forum three have
been marked it such fashion. Marcus -- my Nausicaa cel,
Keys -- my Robot Carnival cel, and Wendy -- this Totoro cel.

   I might not ever sell those cels then again something
might always come up and I end up selling those cels next
week/month. However, whatever happens I am not teasing
that those friends of mine have first shot at those cels
if I do sell them. Having made such statements on a public
forum, I will back up my words. I have truly enjoyed my
correspondence with the collectors/dealers I have dealt
with on this forum. I feel truly lucky to be part of this
hobby and a part of this forum.

   For my current and future friends on the forum my name
