While we're on the subject, could use some input.. (Wed Apr 19 09:41:53 2000

As long as we're discussing differences in time zones related to ordering, there's something I've been wondering about that maybe someone can help me with: Do people in earlier time zones (ie california as opposed to here in NC) have an advantage when it comes to getting emails in for ordering cels? I don't know how most cel dealers' mail boxes are set up, but in mine the messages show up according to how they were time stamped by the outgoing computer. So if someone in california sent me an email at the exact same time as someone in this state, the one from california would still look as though it had been sent sooner, because it would be stamped as 1 am while the one from the east coast would be marked as 4 am, and would those appear at the top of the mailbox. Just wondering if anyone thought this actually affected anything, or if some boxes arrange mail according to how it arrived.. because I've never really felt like I've missed out because of being in the eastern time zone, so obviously some dealers have something to compensate for it (or maybe they just check their email so frequently after an update it doesn't matter) |
