Dear Walt,

Yes, I do collect cels from series I have NEVER even seen
before (to my bank account's dismay!).  It's the artwork
and character design that catch my eye, BUT most of the
time, I actually REALLY want to see the anime too!  I have a
pretty good instinct on shows I like even though I haven't
actually seen it.  For instance, I started collecting Card
Captor Sakura cels a year or so ago, BUT I still haven't
been able to see the show yet because of Nelvana's recent
acquistion of the show (so it's off the fansub market too).
I also want to collect more Ah, My Goddess cels, but I still
haven't actually seen the show yet (I do read the manga
though!)!  Meanwhile, I continue to try and acquire fansubs
or tapes of shows of the cels I collect to see what I'm
missing out on (like Rayearth which I started collecting a
year or so before the U.S. release on videotape).  I have a
bunch of cels from shows I haven't even heard of =P, plus
a few cels from shows I have no idea what their from which
I would like to post here someday when I have the means to
do so (no scanner, no upload software, etc.).
