Most cels do come stuck to the drawing. But it's usually quite easy to remove the paper. If it's really stuck to the paper, then you may have to say goodbye to the drawing. Here's a few directions. You can try it yourself or try to find an animation gallery that will do it for you for a fee. Make sure your hands are clean, and wear cotton gloves if you have any. Take the cel and turn it upside down, trying not to bend it too much. Place it on a clean surface. Then, gently lift the paper from the cel. Remember to bend the paper, not the cel. Pull gently. If it doesn't lift off, try from a different side. Do this very slowly. Remember to not force it. If it doesn't seem like it will come off, then just stop. If you have to, cut the paper around the trouble spots. Hope that helps a little. You might look in the past postings for more info. Chad Kawakami |
