     I don't mind the cel forum being anonymous.  There are 
only a few times that seeing the IP/Host name might be useful, 
but the rest of the time, it's not necessary.  To most people it 
will just be a bunch of numbers or letters.  Very seldom 
do people compare the IP/Host on each message.  Some people 
like to remain anonymous, and might be afraid to post if they 
felt like they were being traced (by having their info displayed).  
It's good to encourage people to feel welcome and secure.
     If someone really wants to verify a message, that can be 
done by other means.  You can e-mail the author of the message 
to check if they really posted it themselves.  The cel forum, 
in my opinion, doesn't require any security measures.  Most postings
are simple questions, opinions, and announcements.  
     I know that my IP/Host name changes, depending what computer 
I'm using--  Home--college--friend's computer--other college for summer.
