Sorry to be slightly off subject again (this is a CELS FORUM)...
    AIC and Pioneer are separate companies.  Neither one 
owns the other.  Many people assume that Pioneer owns AIC 
since Pioneer releases most of AIC's anime titles (Tenchi 
Muyo, Moldiver, El-Hazard, Armitage, Daiundoukai....), but 
they are actually separate companies. AIC does animation 
work for other sponsors too, such as Youmex, KSS, and 
Kodansha.
    Some examples of AIC's work for companies (other than 
Pioneer) are Burn Up W, Sol Bianca, Ninja Mono, 
and Ah! My Goddess.
    Youmex is a separate company.  I believe they are part 
of Toshiba.  
    It's still possible that Pioneer may have or intends to 
get the North American distribution rights for Ninja Mono, 
but I haven't heard any official announcements.  I'm hoping
that the rumor that I heard that Media Blasters (formerly 
Kitty Media) has the rights turns out to be true.

By the way, I was wondering if anyone knows who owns this 
"perfect" Ninja Mono cel.  It makes me drool.. ^_^;
