As you may know, many parts in Macross Plus were done in
CG, so the amount of cels available are actually not many.
Plus many Japanese otaku have already grabbed tons of
Macross Plus cels in the beginning. Once in a while, these
collectors sell them to the dealers, then the dealers sell
them to us, the customers. And the main reason is the
majority of cel production process were done in Korea, the
Japanese anime studio actually didn't have that many Macross
Plus cel to leak out for the market anyway.
That's what I have been told from the dealers themselves. |
