Yes, I have seen some AMG cels with backgrounds, mostly
among Japanese collectors. A few foreign collectors in
the US and Europe that I know has some too, but as you know,
they're indeed very rare and expensive.
Many anime studios did only the pencil sketches, then send
the cels off to somewhere for cel paintings.
Backgrounds are also created in some other studios.
Filming and editing are often done in somewhere else too.
That's one of the reasons why you see cels sometimes don't
come with the pencil sketches. And you often see a lot of
anime series that are hard to find with backgrounds, like
in the case of AMG. |
