Well, I just got back a little while ago from AWA too, so now I
can start reading backlog of email, etc that has piled up 
for weeks while I made costumes(I was Suzaku no Miko & Karla the Grey Witch
for people who were at the con). 

The cel dealers there were mostly overpriced.  I only bought 1 cel, 
an OVA Deedlit which now I need to verify is a production one 
(dealer said it was and it looks it, but doesn't have sequence number
- could have been on seperate taped on strip that no longer there maybe) 
At least it is a from easy scene to find on the tape  ;-)

The hotel definitely was a poor choice, the previous hotel was better
than this.  I lost count of the number of times I was mowed over in the 
dealers rooms, or the hem of my costume stomped on.  I also gave up trying
to get full-length pics of cosplayers as every centimeter back I moved
to take a pic upped the ratio someone would move in blocking
what I wanted to get in view.  Snap and run picture taking became
the mode or operation.
