>> Some cel sites only take international postal money orders. Are these the same as international money orders? No. An international POSTAL money order in US dollars is issued at the post office and can be easily cashed at any US post office without problems. I believe this is true at international post offices too. A bank international money order can only be cashed through a bank and normally there's a processing fee and a waiting period if cashed in a foreign country. If it's cashed in the US, if it's drawn on a US bank, there isn't a problem. If it's drawn on a foreign bank, then the bank fee and the waiting period will apply. Metaphor |
