it is also my understanding that if an ebay seller refuses to sell a non-reserve item at the high bid price that they can lose their account on ebay as this is the same as breaking a contract. not a great way to do business, "oh, you got the high bid but, i forgot to put a reserve so i am not going to be able to sell it for that price. sorry." i think ebay tends to frown on this. larry
