I don't think that this is exactly what you're looking for but, 
there is also a part at the opening of one of the early OAVs, if 
I recall, where Ryo-Ohki is in a diving suit tied to a fishing 
pole that Ryoko is submerging into the water on the dock near 
Tenchi's house. I don't remember if there's a carrot involved or 
not and I think Ryo-ohki is actually fishing for fish.
Sorry, it's been a couple of years since I've seen this part of 
the series and my memory of it is only vague, but I do remember 
the fishing part.
