I doubt that Ebay would do anything, even though looks
highly suspect. I emailed Ebay a while back about a
FY cel auction that had some highly suspect activity(feedback
looked to be from friends and 1 appeared to be from seller under different name
and added after auction started,
suddenly jump in bidding by couple of $100 by one of the newly
feedbacking persons, interesting similiarities in seller and
new bidders AOL profiles, etc..). Ebay agreed with only 1 point and issued seller
a warning. Interestingly enough, reserve price wasn't meet on that cel - even though
suspect bidder had jumped it up to close to $600. About
a month ago, noticed seller was trying to sell same cel for
$375 on rec.anime.marketplace - guess his bidder of close to
600 backed out if there ever was one.
On the Eva cel - What I find interesting is that I emailed this person
asking for some specifics
on his eva cel - like what was its cel number and the
measurements of the background. No response. I would think
if someone actually had a genuine production eva cel to
sell that they would willingly supply this info.
