Hello, some auctions will add on an extra 5 or so minutes to the auction 
if someone bids in the last few seconds of an auction. This is to prevent 
last second bidding. I think Ebay does this and my Anime auction site also 
has this. The 5 extra minutes may not help.. but if your there with the 
other bidder and keep bidding it gives you a better chance at least.
