Actually, I'm the person you're thinking of. You answered a
friend of mine who bought the 2nd $$$ Deed that Vega
released. The most I paid for a single cel so far is the
Deedlit you saw which I paid $1330 for (I don't have a
scanner)
Anyways, me and my friend are putting together a
combined gallery of our best stuff. Unfortunately, we both
started collecting less than six months ago and so...we
have quite a ways to go. Open invitations to all once its
up.
In response to an earlier thread concerning spending:
I think I speak for alot of people when I say that - from a collectors point of view, when you find that thing so rare
and beautiful, you're inspired by its significance that
can't be formulated and as your desire becomes your need,
the value of money appears to diminish.
Don't look down upon people who spend excess money on cels
as it does transcend all logic. |
