anime cels for disney cels is something I keep hearing about
in trades - so I am wondering what disney movies seem to be the
most common ones that anime cel collectors both in japan
and outside would trade high quality anime cels for?
Someone mentioned Alice in Wonderland here recently, I have heard others
brought up. Of course, tiny images from Disney tend to go for
prices that I could buy really nice anime cels for, so in the
opinion of people more experienced with disney movie cels,
is it worth it to invest in some good shots from the older movies,
for the sake of trading? Like for example, waist up main
characters from Cinderella ($$$$$ ;_;), Snow White ($$$$$$$$$ @.o),
etc, etc?
Also, are recent film cels with their original backgrounds
a better idea, or older films without (obviously not as nice
images for the older films)? I know computer colouring is
common now, but there were some films released in the last
decade which did use traditional cel painting.
I realise it all depends on the collector who I wish to trade with,
but any input would be really appreciated.
