I don't remember Anime Exchange as an "unscrupulous dealer."
When they were running I always got my orders in a timely
fashion.  I received some very nice cels from them.  They were
always friendly and prompt with emails.  I think the 
owner just got too busy and then stopped for a variety of 
reasons.  I think he was getting a friend or partner to do
the webwork for him.  It's been awhile...
