Don't forget one thing when you are using those exchange rates converters mentioned by other people : It's not the rate that you will get in a Japanese bank neither the one you will get in your bank. It's the current rate on the market from _one_ financial place. The rate will be differant at another place. Also, it's an average rate for large electronic transaction, not for banknote. And it doesn't include fees that may vary from exchange company or that is set by the government. What that mean ? That you will always get a change worse than the one displayed. (and there isn't any need to get a by minute rate : bank will at best update their rate two times per day). Cheers, Yann Stettler PS: And for the very basic : Yen to USD rate isn't the same as USD rate to yet ! How to know which one is what ? The worse one for you is the one you get... (bank buy cheaper and sell higher. That's how they gain money). |
