I posted this yesterday, but it promptly "flew" to the next
page, so I don't know if any of the relevant parties saw it
or not. Anyway, it's just an informational and if I am wrong
on anything, please, someone correct me:
As far as I can recal, Ken-Ohki (or Kei-Ohki as I've also heard)
is only featured in the first Tenchi TV series. He was Nagi's
space ship, much like Ryo-Ohki is Ryoko's space ship.
I don't think it's explained wheather Nagi is related
to Ryoko/Washu somehow, because as far as I know, Washu is the
one that created Ryo-Ohki, so she was her invention. Why would
Nagi have one too?
There was never a human Ken-Ohki.
Tenchi 2nd OAV series Spoiler---
The only reason there is a human Ryo-Ohki is because
the Masu tank in Washu's lab was broken and the Masu escaped.
Ryo-Ohki merged with the Masu to protect Tenchi in the OAV (I
am assuming that most people have seen this one by now).
The reason the cels are so scarce is because this Ryo-Ohki was
only featured in this particular OAV.
Pretty Sammy Spoiler --
The Ryo-Ohki transformation into human form in the one
Pretty Sammy OAV, was due to Washu again. The boy that was sent
by Washu to protect Sasami/Sammy was Masu too and had merged with
Ryo-Ohki after he said good bye. Not sure why the merge; it wasn't
clear (Pretty Sammy is kinda corny anyway and has a bunch of loose
ends).
